RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other construction documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
Use advanced software such as Procore, OST, Heavy Bid, Blue Beam, and Takeoff to prepare estimates and track costs.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure they meet project specifications and budget.
Participate in proposal preparation and client presentations.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project scope.
Regularly communicate with team members and clients to discuss cost estimates and resolve cost discrepancies.
Conduct risk analysis and identify potential cost overruns.
Keep up-to-date with the latest construction methods, materials, and trends in the construction industry.
