Dow Sponsors a Tree at Methuen Festival Of Trees

The Dow Company has been placing a tree in the Methuen Festival of Trees since its inception 23 years ago. In this festival, all trees are decorated and donated to the festival which displays them for 2 weeks and then raffles them off. All proceeds are then donated yearly to local charities.

In 2014 Dow committed to donating a tree to the Sea Festival of Trees and received a first-place trophy for a children’s themed tree. Our 2016 Sea Festival of Trees entry took on special meaning as it was called “Mary Christmas” in memory of Mary Dow, who was the president of The Dow Company, and had passed away earlier in the year at the age of 90.
