The Dow Company has been placing a tree in the Methuen Festival of Trees since its inception 23 years ago. In this festival, all trees are decorated and donated to the festival which displays them for 2 weeks and then raffles them off. All proceeds are then donated yearly to local charities. In 2014 Dow committed to donating a tree to the Sea Festival of Trees and received a first-place trophy for a children’s themed tree.
