The Dow Company was selected to construct a memorial at Logan Airport to honor those who lost their lives in the atrocities of September 11, 2001. Dow is honored to have been chosen to participate in such a meaningful project. 2014 represented Dow’s 110th year in business. In October of 2014, an outdoor family-friendly party was held at Dow’s main facilities to celebrate and thank all the employees, their families, friends and vendors for their continued support and hard work. The day was picture-perfect and fun was had by all. There were games for the kids, a live band, a crane simulator provided by Local 4 Operating Engineers, and tons of great food and drink. The Dow Company has been placing a tree in the Methuen Festival of Trees since its inception 23 years ago. In this festival, all trees are decorated and donated to the festival which displays them for 2 weeks and then raffles them off. All proceeds are then donated yearly to local charities. In 2014 Dow committed to donating a tree to the Sea Festival of Trees and received a first-place trophy for a children’s themed tree.
